we have been instructed by our union to prep certain sections on the frame per day ie 1 st 4 sections mon then next 4 sections tues etc and also to leave one section for sat door 2 doors is this correct way or is this just our unit this is for town walks

That is pretty much the standard way and I think that system was mentioned in the agreement. We do five sections a day so the first four, like you, plus one from the last column. So on Fri and Sat you only have four sections to do each day being the columns second and third in from the right.

I presume then your IWT is showing a gap on Saturday which rather than lapsing your Area Rep has agreed that the time should be used prepping the following week's D2D?

We are talking about some companies here; including major companies in FTsie 100-250' that are over-leverage, claiming to be making huge profits and next thing they are going into administration, being rescued or going bust.

These marketing folks do not care! The Cost/Benefit analysis of the rubbish constantly sent out by BT and Virgin Media is most likely going to be in a negative territory - and they must know it! They are often more concerned with market leadership, short-term profit, boost in share prices, huge executive pay and business 'smokes and mirrors'.

Well as a Sky AND Virgin subscriber at a not inconsiderable cost I get royally f*cked off at all the special offers leaflets that get poked through my door giving new subscribers a package at a fraction of the prices I pay
