We lost d2d money because all the Mail centre staff saw a £20 pay rise . Kerching.They do not do them , thats why we lost it .

You may well be technically wright, but the perception within delivery offices is that delivery workers were SHAFTED !
You can argue as much as you like about the wording of BT2010, but you'll be wasting your breath.

I agree, I think they only got £8

But that £8 was derived by pooling all the D2D monies + NDA monnies then deviding it up between all the staff
Delivery people who were delivering say 3 item @1.67p X 600 calls would have got £30
Now they deliver 6 items X 600 calls for £20 ( this would have been £60 under the old system of payment )
A large increase in workload for a decrease in take home pay
Add that to NDA going and you aint looking too happy
Then you see the office "PHG" getting paid £20 for NOT delivering any items
The firms duty getting £20 for not delivering any items
Then you hear that the mail centres get paid £8 for not delivering any items

The number of DO staff far outweigh MC staff.So even if EVERY MC worker voted for bt2010 (and i didn't btw),then if DO staff had all voted against it then it wouldn't of got in!

I understand members concerns and I am wary of what the likes of Bob Gibson will dream up in any agreed future delivery model but if the union look weak in a IA Ballot then its everyone for themselves and I dont expect that to result in anything other than a shoogly peg.
