Its not shitty its typical of strike breakers drag everyone else in so they don't look bad. we have one who is just like that in our office - trouble is its backfired on him as those who were wavering and would want to keep it confidential know found well he will finger point if he is challenged on it, siting the names that came in.

As I said in another post earlier today.
2 went in at our office but they sneaked in because the manager
picked them up in a RM combo and put them in the back before
driving thru the picket line :mad

We have contacted our area rep about a clear breach of H&S regulations
and hopefully the manager will get his just rewards. :nana

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

strike breakers at gateshead DO

Post by mister-spock »

hi i got out of Royal Mail 3 Years ago and use to work at Gateshead and Tyneside MC.Ive been on strike several times in the past but on passing Gateshead DO on Thursday there were 3 drivers scabbing and no-one on the picket line. They seemed rather proud of it when i asked them what they were doing. One of them had transferred from being a manager at Parcelforce a few years ago

out of 130 at our ofice we've got roughly 25/30ish strike breakers!

Same old lines, "I can't afford to lose money", "I'm not in the union", etc, etc.

Leaves a nasty taste in the mouth!

I just hope in the future that these ass-wipes need our support for whatever reason. I'll be more than happy to go and tell em to fook off!!!!!
