Surely you mean 'with other mail that had been streamlined'?

Hot one today. Could only manage a slow crawl.

No idea. I only do parcels on an ad hoc basis so not my responsibility. They are sorted up by a different team round the back of the office. I didn't see it that morning so it must have been put straight to the york. They don't usually clear all the parcels every day, too many and not enough man hours.

Actually quite a nice day

The weather was overcast till 11am and was nice and fresh out in me shorts. :nana

The last lorry came in 20 mins early which meant we all got out a little earlier as well. With the cooler air and a spring in my step I got around really well. Heavy into my Mp3 audio book at the mo and turned into one of those rare days when you lose track of time and get a nice surprise at the end.

Going to be a raving 84 deg F tom (sat) so i am hoping that i am home with a cold beer before it gets that hot.

Today, Sat 13/7, was the worst day for me this week. Out at 8:30, got back to office 13:30.

At 12:45 a bloke kindly observed that "You're late today. Have you been delayed?". I replied it might be due to the fact it was busy and very hot (28.5 according to van gauge).

Thank you to all the customers who 'saved my legs' by taking letters from me 3 feet away from letterbox.

Also I'd like to thank all the customers I've spoken or delivered parcels to during these past 3 very hot days that offered me a cold drink. By all, I mean 1.

I'm glad I'm getting out of delivery in the next few weeks.
