Why does everyone moan?

It seems that the majority of posts on here is of people moaning about the company.

I get that for the guys and girls that have been here for many years and have seen it change from the 'good old days' to the 'modernisation', the job isn't as good as it used to be, but is it really that bad?

This is my 4th job on my cv to date and its by far the best, Its very stress free and pays better then any of the others I've had, the hours are great, we get evenings and at least one weekend day free.


I've had jobs where I'm working 4 weekdays to 10 pm and the same on both Saturday and Sunday for minimum wage.

Yes it's not perfect and the majority of management are ####s, yes it's changing but as are more jobs these days.

The job varies from office to office and depends on where you are on this modernisation rollercoaster,you've only been here 7 months which isn't much at all so I would give it a while before you make any real judgements as to whether the moaning is justified or not.

Yea that's fair enough, I've worked for the company for 11 months now and easily the best and easiest job I've had.

Take a can of man up and lighten up, you don't realize how good you have it compared to some people.

Give it 20 odd years of lugging bags around for miles and miles, up and down stairs every day, pressured into continually going over your time for no extra pay(it does happen).

Couple that with bad backs, buggered knees and seized ankles unable to look over your shoulder as you've permanently damaged the neck muscle.

None of this applies to me as I'm in London, and as everyone knows we just sign in every morning and go home.

It's physical yes, but do roofers, builders, warehouse workers, landscapers etc not get physical injuries from long term work? Of course they do, it's the same with most jobs.

Yes my office has had a revision. The Job isn't perfect, but my point is, reading the posts on here, you get the impression we have the worst job in the world when in reality it's actually really good compared to most and for what we do (unskilled, and mostly stress free) we get paid very well. I'm still on £8 and hour and I think that's more than enough
