this is very true. And with the pay rise we will be pushing 440 quid for a 39 hour week . Sign on the dotted line and get this sorted. This is no wind up, we are paid nearly double what staff at asda get. Why the anger amongst all of you?

Many staff on here think we are hard done by, many would love ft contracts etc. This is why you dont see many leave as you all know your better off here

don't try to justify that we are on good wages by comparing us to people who work for unbelievably poor wages. we are NOT on good wages. maybe if you live at home with you're mam and pay 30 quid a week board you could say you were reasonably done by. try living on it with a house to run and a wife and two toddlers to feed. 300 quid take home is f*ckin shyte .

You forget,quite a lot of people are struggling on part time money and with no realistic chance of getting full time,so whilst you might be in clover spare a thought for other people.

BT2010 agreement has cost me about £20 a week, every week, for the last three years.

Thats £20 X 42 weeks (adjusted ) X 3 years = £2880

On the other hand, im on a wallington week ant this year including my leave (6 weeks) 14 and half weeks in total off work i will be paid the delivery supplement, while sat on my arse

Good for you, your a WINNER!
But for the vast majority of delivery staff the picture is not so rosey.
On the bright side, when we're privatised, we'll all be treated to the same sh*t,no more wallington weeks, release time cut, no more winners & losers deals, a pay-cut for all, no more 4 day weeks, less managers, more "team leaders", no more buying extra holidays........we'll all be trated equally bad.

He doesn't get paid anything for his wallington week off.
Just like I don't get paid for my day off.

The money that goes into his bank account during his wallington week off is deferred wages from the 5 extra days he has worked over the previous 5 weeks,presumably delivering D2D.
Not that the delivery supplement has anything to do with D2D.
