not for Royal Mail then at £20 per hour - even OT rate is not that high for us Artic drivers -unless you are on London weighting etc with a lot more bonuses ?

But just looking at some of the comments on this thread makes me realise why it is so difficult to engage people in the workplace to join or support the union.

Well that's £40,000 plus a year and I have to question if you are actually worth that money, a question I'm sure the new owners will be looking at because there's a lot of carriers out there hungry for money and I'll bet they wouldn't cost anything like that....................perhaps you should give Stobarts a ring.

the dsa drivers who come in to our mail centre [business post] who are hgv 1 reckon their on 7 quid an hour, and are worked like navvies.
