Cancel 'Pro Rata' would be a big step forward

Maybe a bit too far,but the delivery supplement should be the same for f/t and p/t because after all we are doing the same hours on delivery,just the indoor work is different.The only catch would be those who work 3 or 4 days in their case a fair way of doing it would be to pay it on a daily basis to those that do a full delivery.

F/t staff works 39 hours at £10/hr = £390 + £20 delivery supplement = 410/39 = £10.51/hr.
P/t staff works 30 hours at £10/hr = £300 + £20 delivery supplement = £320/30 = £10.67/hr

The p/t staff would be on a higher hourly rate.
The delivery supplement is pro rata so we remain on the same hourly rate.
The delivery supplement isn't for doing D2D.
The delivery supplement isn't for working outside.

The reduction in the working week is an hourly pay increase. Get a calculator out and do the maths.

Your Logic is flawed.

PTimers received a 2.5% pay rise when FT went down from 40 Hours to 39 with no loss of earnings.

1 hour out of 40 = 2.5%

Ergo we all received the same pay rise and we all get the same hourly rate of pay.

I do know what I am talking about,I made a mistake on that one,but the way thing's stand now with this delivery supplement needs sorting out,it's a fact that it was brought in as a sweetener to make up for the lost D2D payment which was much fairer,now people are doing more d2d's and getting paid less and you think this is fair,I'm surprised that it annoys you so much that the p/t might get a few pence an hour extra,the vast majority of p/t are having to do overtime to make ends meet and probably don't stand much chance of being made up to full time,but you are full time so you're not bothered about the part timers eh.

The only thing they need to do with the delivery supplement is explain that it's an hourly rate supplement.
And possibly change it's name.

We all get paid the same per hour whether we're full-time or part-time*.
I don't know why that's so hard to grasp
