totally against this action
the affect this is having on the whole industry is cataclysmic. the strike is pushing £M's into the competitors pockets, possibly never to come back.
most of you will end up actually working for these companies in a couple of years time if you insist on carrying the can for those 2 who are happy to use the postal grade in their no win fight.
after many years in this business even the hardiest of those who still believe there is a future in unions are starting to think the the CWU have gone too far on this one.
It is they who are now turning to the the government asking them to intervene, why ? cos they have backed themselves into a no win situation.
if a snap election is called, this squabble will receive very little in the way of publicity except that people will not be able to have postal votes.
with no publicity the union will be dead and buried.
time for a snap election of the unions leadership.

You're just gonna start a row now with your 'Grow up' comment.boggie wrote:grow up and smell the coffee.
if you don't like it and cannot embrace the change this business needs then go elsewhere.
this job is heamoraging money hand over fist, and jobs need to go as we are grossly underworked and overstaffed.
What's your story then, what do you do in RM.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I just want my pension that i have paid for with my hard earned money, and i want it when they said back in 1981 that i would have it...at 60 not 65!
''heamoraging money'' Agree there...its going to all the new bosses at the top and on plasma tv screen which nobody in my office has used yet!
On buying foreign bussinesses and selling them for a £1
I am sure with time i could think of loads of ways that this bussiness has wasted money!
Hang on, i just thought of another..putting coloured lights up in our office ,at the cost of thousands, to manage throughputs..which were never used after a few months!

It could be coincidence, but there was a 'boggie' on the erstwhile hellmail forum who frequently posted stuff like this - IIRC, he claimed to be a DOM...dinho1 wrote:for the record boggie what position do you hold at RM ? are you a screw?
As I say though, maybe just coincidence

Probably haemorrhaging (note correct spelling) into your pocket dear Dom and as for being underworked and overpaid, you can soon change that by becoming a delivery postie.boggie wrote:grow up and smell the coffee.
