The Communication Workers Union says up to 200 members at a Peterborough post sorting office are staging a wildcat strike.
Members have walked out at the Werrington Delivery Office.
The union says they are taking the action over a 'disciplinary incident' involving a member of staff.
There are reports the action is affecting postal deliveries across Peterborough.
We are waiting for a comment from Royal Mail.

Friday 10.25am: Royal Mail staff at the Werrington sorting office in Peterborough have staged a mass walk out this morning (5 July) after a ‘disciplinary issue’.
About 200 staff walked out of the sorting office at Papyrus Road earlier this morning.

“We have tried to sort it out at a local level, but it has not worked, so we are waiting for a senior official from the CWU.
“In the region of about 200 people have walked out, and won’t be going back to work until it is sorted.”

Further proof of what's to come for us all.
Wish they'd take action like this in my office, but they won't walk out for themselves, let alone a colleague.
Hope they punish RM and the manager that is undoubtedly responsible for causing this action. Stick together until they back down and give in.
