Been in the union for over 30 years and we've never had strike pay. Some unions do have a strike fund I believe. You'll have to tighten your belt

We were out for three weeks in 1988 and didn't get anything. The local Trade Union and Unemployed Workers centre took a few test cases to the DSS, but they assume unions will pay strike pay, so the people concerned got nothing from them. You're right to mention the cash Labour are getting for screwing us over, but I doubt the £400,000 the CWU insist on throwing to the scum would go far between 130,000 strikers though.

Why is everybody picking on Billy 3 chins. When asked if the union was against modernization he
said, " I don't think £320 pounds a week is very modern do you?" I thought that was perfect! :nana :nana :nana :dance :dance :dance

You don't need to tell me about the leadership of this union, so f**k off and come back when you've got something we don't know.

Dave Ward gets paid while we are on strike because he is probably working his arse off to get us a decent deal while we are doing our bit to pressurise RM from our end - he is doing what he is paid to do and it isn't a job I would like - poppapump, you are like lots of people I know - if it isn't exactly what YOU want it isn't good enough - if you want to talk like a prat - learn english and do it properly.
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile
