And the part timers got double shafted, once by the agreement and again because they are doing exactky the same as the fulltimers but getting paid less because of the pro rata bollox.baleout wrote:Regardless. Most of those on Delivery got well shafted and lost a lot of money !clashcityrocker wrote:You always have a choice.cyberheater wrote: We really didn't have a choice.
You vote yes. You vote no. You don't vote.
But D2D into workload wasn't agreed by the union without it being put to the members.

Re: The Closed Pay Offer
Correct no extra pay and I do them but its just annoying that you can't have a long weekend. You can't argue about the money as it is quite well paid

Management in our office were bigging up the pay-deal this morning. It was roundly laughed off.

Re: The Closed Pay Offer
We had the courier flash thing in WTLL today. As expected, it highlights the good parts, which is basically the pay rises, and makes little mention of all we're expected to forfeit to get it. It was aimed at getting feedback for RM, which apart from 1 person, was totally negative. The 1 person was shocked it wasn't agreed, as it was 'a really good deal'. Tried to explain but it was like

I think the union need to broaden their communication network so that people know that the deal has been rejected. On wtl today the management were handing out letters to staff showing the agreement and some must have assumed it was a done deal!
