Glossary or terms and conditions! pensions proposal

Having read through some of the Pension booklet that arrived this morning, the glossary (terms and C) makes interesting reading! At the bottom of the letter it states that the changes become binding if there is a change of ownership. Rubbish...Page 38 booklet "subject to certain conditions...(Plan must not be in deficit) (provided markets do not deteriorate further) (the company must be a going concern)". The Markets went down yesterday!! This is all about kicking the pension into the long grass till after privatisation.

I don't think this proposal booklet really tells us anything we didn't already know!

We knew that RM could change our pension benefits (going forward) at any time, allowing for a consultation period.
We knew that the unions, ultimately have no say in the matter other than bargaining and negotiation.
We knew that privatisation is a major influence in these changes aswell as poor investment performance.
We knew that the pension scheme will close sooner or later.

Markets went down yesterday but on the year are doing very well but most of pension money I think is invested in bonds and gilts which at the moment have a poorer return but are a lot safer.

Does not the pension plans administrators look to how invest our money for the best return's for the long term NO this is just another money grab by royal mail who did not pay in their fair share once again profit before pensions for privatisations sake!.
