Re: FULL TIME!!
Just keep an eye on notice board. if there is no full time go for 34 hours contract then keep eye open for full time reserve duty or full time walk but it is rare these days. If you can cope with the money I wouldn't bother.

Re: FULL TIME!!
Mostly it's because the business is in the middle of a 3+ year modernisation program and that means a D.O. really has to have a revision before it can decide on it's "establishment".llcoolh wrote:Just a quick question, why RM does not offer a full time position anymore?
Royal Mail will not sanction full-time recruitment pre-revision in case it leads to a surplus afterwards.
During the revision any non-specialised full-time posts created should be offered to existing part-time staff on a seniority basis.
After a revision reps should use the Stoke Agreement and the Job security Agreement to ensure full-time jobs are replaced on a like for like basis.
Royal Mail will always try it on.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share
