I currently have a deferred RM pension - I don't have any NRA 65 benefits, so it is all in the NRA 60 part...
Looking at my latest statement from Sept 2012, if I take pension at planned date ( age 60 ), I will get a pension supplement until State Pension Age.
BUT, if I took pension @ age 55 ( if allowed ), what happens to the pension supplement then ? as it would be paid for 5 years longer, I assume that it would be a reduced figure, or otherwise maybe they wouldn't pay the supplement until age 60, even if you exit at 55 ?
Just wondered if anyone has been through the above circumstances ?

Re: taking deferred pension @ 55 ?
I've had no personal experience of this myself but as far as I know the supplement will still be paid out if you take your pension before 60. But it will be reduced, probably along similar lines to the main pension, i.e by 5% per year.
