It’s official - Scotland’s strongest man is from Arbroath!
Mark Robertson (35), a former Inverbrothock and High School pupil, took the title at the weekend after competing in the 105 kg category at the Scotland’s Strongest Man competition in Dumbarton.
Mark, who is a postman by day, now lives in Turriff where he has started his own gym after getting interested in the sport only three years ago.
He will now go on to compete for the title of Britain’s Strongest Man.
Mark’s family still live locally and mum, Fiona Fairweather, says she is “so proud.”
