Previous to that would be "Grandfathers rights" and they are now getting fewer as more drivers retires, so there may be a possibility of some vacancies in the future.

try applying to uk mail or tnt ,they run more lorries into our mail centres than royal mail :Boo hoo! :Boo hoo! :Boo hoo!

hi can anyone clarify in a distribution resign of duties should temporary distribution drivers be allowed to sign for a duty.only spoke to hr in Sheffield and they seem to think you should be allowed anyone have experience of this.

You need to see how it was advertised. At my office it normally goes to the people working in distribution on seniority first but if not taken will be advertised to the mail centre staff
