Manchester CDO, transfer to ?

Post by BettySwollocks »

Hello,
Due mainly to me not getting along with a colleague on nights, (i can see punches being thrown in the near future, and i'd rather move and be employed than stay and face sack & court proceedings),
i'd like to know what the chances are of moving from an MPU to the Manchester mail centre, i've been working on CSS for nearly 3 years, and i like to think i'm pretty good at it,
theres no way i could accept part-time hours, it would have to be full-time, and a night shift.

any advice would be greatly appreciated,

Have you had a word with your manager/union rep? The problem will be whether they will be able to let you transfers as I've heard all transfers on hold due to the reorganisation of Royal Mail.

Thanks, but my manager (if given a choice) would block it, my rep' wouldn't be much help either...
i really don't want to move, all my friends are here, but i don't see any other option other than to go back to being a postie, if things continue as they are, it's just a matter of time before i say/do something that will cost me my job !

thanks anyway.
