Christmas 2013

When are Royal Mail taking applications for Christmas 2013 staff? I remember applications were summer time last year but can't find any info for this year. Thanks.

At my MC, we now have too many casuals because lots of last year's Christmas casuals got moved to Angard. If my calculations are correct, by Christmas 2015 my MC will be a sea of yellow hi-vizes. Wall to wall casuals. All crammed in. Windows smashed. Stampeded.

No survivors.

This is utter self-opionated nonsense! What with this coalition government hell bent on privatisation TNT could buy RM for some £3 to £6 billion and what could happen: thousands of manager redundancies, each given massive pay-offs.

Presently many angardees are giving up on the casual work, fed up with the lack of hours [zero hours]. Come Christmas 2013 there could well be a shortage of tried and tested, high-performing angardees, many fed up with abusive, bullying and stupid, nepotistic "managers" at mail centres?!
