Not had anything about it in wtl so we'll just keep sending ones without red stickers back to DOs until they get red stickered

No one seems to know for sure is the impression i get so i have given up asking and just go with the flow.

2 months after the implementation date and it hasnt been implemented as far as I know.The mail centre is still returning chalkers to offices as there has been no agreement with CWU.

A customer handed me two letters for people who had moved away, so I've put them in a post box to see if they come back to me or if a ninja at the MC does the RTS instead.
Will report tomorrow.

We are getting them sent back to a mailing house here with just the RTS or whatever the resident decides to endorse them with, and nothing else, no kill off sticker no highlighting of return address nothing. I guess there is not enough spare capacity at the Mail Centre.

Damn right, teebs, those guys have all the stops pulled out - they work far far too hard, certainly put the delivery guys in the shade - nothing is their watchword

So what should IPS sorters be doing when they come across RTS items when they do not have a "deads sticker" on them (but are endorsed by someone in pen) and management have not said anything regarding this issue? Sorted to box according to the original address (often forwards), or put in depot duty box?

Looks like the idea has been abandoned on the whole as near enough all the deads we get through have got the stickers on.
