It depends on what kind of duty / walk you have. I mean if you have a regular walk and it is not too big it is achievable to play football but you will need to get door to door finished on Friday and come in early on Saturday for throwing out walk. But you will not be able to run round like like Fabian Delph as you have little energy to run really hard. I would look for a supersub role in your team. Playing Football and work doesn't mix

To get back to the original thread topic, I always ask the lino what time the part timer will be starting at, and then try and make sure their walk is at the same level of preparedness as mine. Once the sorters come off the IPS, though, I go back to my own frame, otherwise you end up some way behind the rest of the blue arsed fly pack, culminating in pressure from the supervisory twit who can't quite figure out why you may need to cut off today.

Thanks for some serious replies. Football is finished for this season so I'm sure I will learn if its possible before the new season starts. Thanks again

Inward Primary Sorting. There's a glossary of terms on the forum somewhere, some nice chap or chapess may be able to direct you to it.

Click the back arrow to the Blue Shirts menu. There's a sticky thread, up above in the 'Stickies' section, titled 'GLOSSARY OF TERMS USED WITHIN ROYAL MAIL '. Click on these words and it should take you directly to the relevant info.

Forget redirections. Then get out and run round. Dont worry there wont be a gaffer when you get back anyway. Its ok dont worry that some old buggers still got two loops to do on park and loop in the pouring rain you have a good game pal!
I would normally agree with you on those points. But if the guy really loves his football good luck to him if he has to do most of the above to play football on a saturday (not the forgetting redirections/dumping d2ds bits) As you say the gaffer would of f****d off early.

IPS is slightly different depending on if it's in a MC or a DO. In a MC each selection will be a single DO (some larger DOs may get sub-selections). In a DO each selection will probably be a number of walks (how many per selection typically?)
