THE MOTHER OF ALL COCK-UPS

We as a office have just completed the the 1st stage in our new delivery indoor setup 'SUPER' sorters,Porters,and finally Walk Preps..............as well long & short start times have been introduced....also a revision is coming up even though the walks are totally unequal ( we have a planner in at the moment that nobody has seen since he was introduced to us 4 weeks ago ) so you'll sign for a duty and more than likely after 6 weeks they'll put a additional 100+ drops on ( I've seen this happen )
All the money spent on this must be astronomical and all it's achieved is people are getting out 40 minutes later than they used too so therefore a office where 'culling' was unheard of is a daily event now, our office is now full of demoralised posties doing a job with unachievable workloads and and fantasy target times...
I'm all for change and securing jobs etc etc BUT whoever came up with this idea hasn't got a clue.

PS....when this comes to your office ( and it will do ) you will be shown videos of offices where this has been a success, all I can say is poppycock.

ohhhh!! and summer savings are to be introduced even though when the question was asked direct before we signed and were told that there was no chance.

This is not as such a normal revision (the whole layout of our office has changed completely) this new setup is apparently mean't to save us time in our indoor work,for example not walking to the sorting frames to collect mail cos a porter brings it to you ,while you are prepping 2 duties all mail,packets ,D2D's,redirections all have to be set up in the frame so when the walk holder comes off the sorting in theory all they need to do is bag up , I HAVE YET TO WITNESS THIS EVER BEING ACHIEVED !! it's just impossible to do it it the timescale.It is being trialed and has been a success in other offices ...hahahaha...what a load of bullocks.
Price Waterhouse Cooper are the people who have set this up and trust me when I say this they have well and truly destroyed what was a perfectly good office before this came in.When we question any of the decisions that are made we are told that "were not willing to change " or " we won't let it work "
It also seems strange to me they are doing the indoor work first ( when there was nothing wrong in the first place ) and leaving the outdoor work till last ( where the problems are ?? )

we have had are revison in for nearly 3 years and no re pick
some people even wrote to the area rep but he did nothing no wonder so many are leaving the union
