Problems is, if they wait for everyone to return, then that means they can't go home early, and they have to work their hours.
I'm sure all would agree, that would be entirely unreasonable.
why would they be failing in their duty of care ? number 1 they shouldnt be in their own car and if struggling they should have informed dom and drove back before the office closed or if in OMV they should have a key to the gate
No one said they were in their own car. I was merely telling the previous poster what it would be called. I believe they have told the manager and got the usual response/help. Shrugged shoulders and none. And they will not be entitled to a key to the gate, they have only been at RM 2 or 3 months, and there should only be the minimum number of keys available for security reasons.
Go troll someone else.

A key to the gate is pointless once the DO is locked. They turn off the barriers. At least in our DO.

And it is abandonment of duty. Why didn't the DOM/manager contact him? Could it be possible the person in question is upside down in a ditch after a crash?

Of course that manager failed in the most basic form. How on earth you feel any different is beyond me.
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

I started at my office about 6 weeks ago, and was given my own key on my first day... surely this is the easiest way?
