Public Holidays

Post by Jambomatt1874 »

Easter monday fell on my day off and i wasnt asked if i wanted a credit or the money. After going to see our manager i informed him that as i was carrying 7 weeks holiday which he admits he cant find time to give me i would like the money paid. Still no money in my wages this week i spoke to him this morning and his answer was, theres nothing i can do about it after 4 weeks. So down to his incomptence i and others miss out. This is just another example of incomptence by the two managers in our office since they arrived. Has anyone else had a problem getting public holidays credited? I am now in the process of writing to moya, the union and everybody else i can think of about the joke which is my office

I have found that you now have to ASK for the public holidays to be credited to you.

the way the DIM's work, if you don't ask for the day's money they will save it from their budget, think of that for every office in the country and you can see that RM are on a winner.

it used to be a case that the software the DIM's use for working out rota's etc would give you the entitled days off as a matter of course, but now it does not.

Assuming by your username I know what area you're in...it's already at stage 3 disagreement because somebody at area level thinks they can make the rules up as they go along.
He also thinks he can stop us splitting our breaks.
Wait until you see his plan for Summer Savings, you'll piss yourself.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Our area as a whole has become a joke with faceless wonders making the rules up as they go along. I cant remember the last time one of them left there inner sanctum and went out to do's and found out what there staff are thinking, because if a letter in the local evening paper a few weeks ago by a certain manager saying everything in the garden is rosy is what they think, then they really dont have a clue!

Id love to know how many days are outstanding throughout the country, there must be a blackhole of thousands that we're unlikely to ever see
