Any network drivers seen the new 200 units we are supposedly greeting this month ?

Strong rumours at Cov that they are Dafs but have Day cabs (no bunk) and no night heaters, don't know how this will go down regarding having rest breaks in the unit ??

On a recent Channel 4 programme an HGV driver said that about 70% carry out layby drills

Seen no new Tractor units about, as for Coventry its a Rumour Mill is'nt it. They were supposed to be having Merc's then its back to DAF'S. Latest when I was in there last is that Parcel Force will deal with the Transport from the Hubs( no RM jobs in there) drivers transferring to PF and any surplus off to NDC. But thats just a rumour

That will never happen mate, there simply isn't enough drivers at Coventry to cover the whole of the UK parcels
