yup i raised the same issue today but got the usual shrug.
so many aspects such as what happens if you have a problem with a pouch box, keys etc when the office is closed?
also i can see a lot of ill feeling coming about with set ups such as our office. drivers & PHG's are staying the same and foot posties starting later

We already do this,it's very rare we work that late, but we just leave the stuff in the pouch boxs when it does happen.
Gets picked up Mon morn.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

No such thing as pouching off in my office. A lot of people don't even know what I'm on about when I mention it.
As all walks other than town centre ones use a bike on delivery we're s'posed to bike back to the office after completion.
Luckily there's always one manager who stays on till everyone's back on a Saturday.
I remember back at my old office if you had a problem on delivery on a Saturday and tried phoning the office for help or assistance and rang anytime after 08.30 you wouldn't get a response, they'd have all f****d off home early.

I work in that office and when you have a spitting mad customer in the callers office on Saturday it makes them even worse when you say at 9.00am - "Sorry there are no managers available" - "I don't believe you and why not" - "they all go home around 8:30"

the thing is in our office next saturday finish times are 2,0,clock so 2 hour strikes should cause a lot of disruption.
