Late Starts / Special Delivery

Post by lisburnpostie »

We have just been told that as and from next week our starting times are going forward by 1 hour.

Now think about this, I start my duty 1 hour later, my finishing time is 1 hour later but guess what the deadline for SPECIAL Delivery stays the same.

How many of us will be back in the office in time to save a phone call for undelivered items??????

Are we supposed to USE OUR PHONES and OUR AIRTIME to call in???????Why not do the Job to the letter and use Public Call Boxes to make the call and dont forget to REVERSE THE CHARGES

Ours they are taking off any on the bottom of the frame, which I don't mind as they bottom of my frame is where all the business are and were the houses are double ups. My bottom row is roughly 1 3/4 the size of a normal single space row.

Thanks for the reply showing the prices they will have to pay.

I cant wait to see our DOMs face when he sees the phone bill.

If all of us did this for a few weeks it would not take long to mop up the surplus of money they are making from not paying us on strike days.

It most likely be a topic to discuss on the picket line on Friday.

Priority service items are supposedly to be delivered by drivers to ensure 1pm delivery time at least thats what weve been led to believe here in the Rugby League capital of the world.

So many on OT makes specials come back late at my office - no one bothered phoning in so the priority service cage just marks them up as attempted anyway. F*** it...

The George was just the place which was handiest for the big Northern Union clubs to meet. Everyone knows the headquarters of Sky TV is the rugby league capital of the world. It's also the soccer and cricket capital too. They'll make a plums of any sport they touch there! How long before they hire Al and Ad?
