deal ? bigger agenda

Post by felang13 »

Its the Pension that really hacks me off ..For all those who don't know YOU WILL be working to 65..( if you are still here by 2010.) your benefits will be banked from 2008 and a new crap scheme started ...if you didnt make 65 you will lose 5% of your pension per year lost . leighton ofcourse will be long retired . wondered why they are picking on your pension , which is one of the best around because no business will buy RM with such a good staff pension rights should it be privatised ....and oh look lets get rid of the Post Offices that the government took all the contracts away from , so called lose making areas ....stuff the communities they serve ....Used to be able to get your road tax ,tv license ,giro .etc etc ..at the PO ..the Government strangled the PO and are now closing them down in a streamlined version of RM ...ripe for the selling .

Yes indeed the Pensions also really concerns me as well,i started at 18 years of age and i am 47 now, thats 29 years service and i would have done my 40 years before i am 60,so was looking forward to leaving the RM with a decent pension and getting a little P/T job for me beer money, that may indeed change if RM get their way.....i am indeed worried

Not strictly true - you only contribute for 40 years.
