How many managers at your office?

On a normal day, how many managers work(haha work!) at your office?

We never have less than 3 except on a Saturday where we have 1-2. Often we have 4. Sometimes even 5 for some reason.

Why oh why do we have so many? 2 managers max is all you need.

About 8 at our DO but you need a lot of linos when they're this s**t,we'd really need only half that amount IF they were any good

RM need all those managers to shaft the workforce. When the workforce has been shafted to the absolute limit, they will start on the managers!

Haven,t seen a line manager in our sub for at least 18 months. No work time learning for at least two years or more. Place runs itself. Last one was a bully, who cocked everything and I mean everything up, and so it is nice to have a bit of peace until they decide that we need cocking up again.

It depends on your definition of the word 'manager'. No lower level managers are allowed to actually manage anymore, they merely implement the policy and instructions of their superior

manager.

We haven't had a proper manager in my unit for at least a decade. The only part decent ones aren't even substantive, so they really aren't any use either as they wield no genuine power or authority.

So, none.

2-4 managers, usually 2 are out on delivery doing cut offs and jobs not covered.

We have 5 managers although for some strange reason only 3 work on a Saturday even though it is a normal working day

We normally have a "phone fiddler" a "York pusher" a "loading bay smoker" and an "office hider".
Some days we have two "phone fiddlers" and at Christmas they usually draft in another "office hider" to deal with the overtime.
