Re: Reported for theft by a manager

Hi everyone,

Thanks.

Had a phone call Friday afternoon from the lady at Reed who let me know the investigation is over and I'm actually able to continue working with Angard, and that I only have my job because she felt sorry for me during the meet I had with her on Tuesday 2nd. Even though she assured me my job was finished during that talk, they've [the directors] decided to give me one more chance. Any more funny business and I'm gone, basically. Still, had I been angry/pissed off/whatever during the meet with her, sympathy would have likely turned to petulance and I'd probably be out for good.

Lesson learnt.

Phew!

Good news, but be careful - the manager who started this, and probably others, will be watching you like a hawk. Don't be clean - be super clean.

Should definitely do something like this...

make sure you tell everyone the reason you have had to have some time off so the person knows he nearly f****d you over for the mere sum of about a quid!

Looks like I won't get the chance after all. Went to work tonight and was told to leave by two managers. Basically I can't go back unless the top level management agree to it and then tell the lower managers I am allowed back.

Hmph. What was that investigation for then? :hmmmm
