How about "The Orchard" - just about covers the lotthe deliverer wrote:Delivered post last week to one property called Orchard Glade on Wednesday, Orchard Cottage on Thursday and Orchard Lodge on Saturday. Wonder what it will be called next week!dvbuk55 wrote:In the 70s I worked for an electricity supply company and named houses were an absolute nightmare in rural areas - in one particular area on a very long stretch of country lane there was 3 Willow Cottages - in the end the council numbered the houses, it didn't detract from the rural aspect and the name on the house was still there but they also had to display a number and that made it easier.

Whenever RM has redesignated a post town or area someone will always pipe up saying they live in "this" area not "that" area and how can RM treat me this way etc etc. The RM reply is invariably is that how it designates areas for the purposes of post deliveries is totally unrelated to physical boundaries etc, therefore it's of no consequence to customers.
Similarly should this daft sod actually want to add "Snobslive'ere" between his name and 13 Hogwash Lane, RM really won't care....
