See crammy can be clever, he can use a literary technique like word play. He stirs everyone up with crass comments and then uses a grammatically correct word for such an action. Quite impressive.
leached, leach·ing, leach·es
1. To remove soluble or other constituents from by the action of a percolating liquid.

That's strange because you said that you weren't the fastest worker in your very first post?
he also said he does his work then goes home.,,,, if he completed the duty in half the time then he,s in the hoose about 2 or 3 hours early.?? so he is being paid for sitting in his house?? is that not fraud ?? should he not be sacked for that??
especially when us oldies/cripples/decrepid old dodderers etc have handed loops back because we cant complete. he,s in the HOOSE when he should be OOT DOING OUR LOOPS!!!

Plenty have been. And as all us senior posties know, they're looking for excuses. Crammy might just end up giving RM the rope he is eventually hanged with.
Tell me Crammie, you say that you finish in half the time that it takes some of the senior men to do the same walk.
So do you stay in the office with a stop watch and wait for your colleagues to return from their walks?
I take it you come in to start your duty at the required time? Stay on the IPS until it is completed? Take your meal relief ( 40 Mins ), and do not make any delivery mistakes ?
Just as a matter of interest , what is your full length of service in Royal Mail?
I am afraid this just sounds like another little bitter attack on seniority from a junior member of staff.

10 years service, i take all my breaks, i very rarely do a missort in my frame and i know alll duties in my office. aND I KNOW I DO QUICKER AS NO I DONT GO HOME EARLY, I GO BACK TO OFFICE AND CLEAR WHATS LEFT. sorry for shouting and then i do ips again what comes in at 1pm to give us a hand till next day, whilst i do this i see staff come back in at half 2, and some staff dont take breaks. So this is how i know

Bring back job and knock. It was fair because younger and fitter people could get the benefit of leaving early or staying but getting overtime to stay. The fair way to set a work rate should be what a 65 year old can comfortably do. Nobody should be forced to work too hard.
Crammy is more capable than the rest of us and he feels he should be rewarded. In the good old days, he would have had the option to go home early or do some ghost overtime. Now these options have been cut off he feels stupid at working so hard for nothing. He has bought into this 'hard work will be rewarded' bollocks. Now he realises that it's not about how hard you work but about who's arse you lick, he feels stupid for working so hard for nothing.
Crammy has been used as a donkey. He is naive and believed the bullshit he was fed but he is still a victim and we won't solve this problem by blaming the victim.
Spanish practises were alright but Greek practises are better.

Wonder why that is.......................no prizes for guessing.
Go on, give us a prize. Think I could win this one. What about a days training with Crammy the wonder postie?
crammypostie wrote:way i see it, in 20 years time royal mail will be better as i know the up and coming workers we have are better than the ones in place now.
The new starts are exactly the same as the new starts were 10 years ago which were the same as the new starts we had 20 years ago.
They haven't suddenly built a new breed of up and coming new start.
What happens with a new start is the gradual realisation over time that the promise they made to themselves that this was only a short term filler job has been broken and that they had better start protecting both the job and their body if they hope to keep either for the long term..
Of course there are exceptions to the rule, some never learn and continue to chase time until something gives..usually with a pop.
Stupid is as stupid does etc....
...then they start having family...need time off...days off...saturdays off...school holidays off - get refused, combined with need more money, can't get extra hours, family
needs more things...clothes...bigger car...house with more rooms...work/life balance...stress at work and home...disillusioned at work...

Im not the fastest worker, but way i see it, in 20 years time royal mail will be better as i know the up and coming workers we have are better than the ones in place now.
Weed out the older guys and bring in the new is what i say
O dear. Car crash
whats happened to the original post ?..... did he feel a bit of a prat and deleted it?
Incredible post...and surely one of the most stupid ever to appear on this website....surely this was a wind up....to be honest..when i look at some of the new and younger starters who come into the business now....and how they use their cars, work over their time and not claim, never have a meal break,do a regular posties walk in half the time he or she does..then comes running back to the office with chest pushed out..waiting for the inevitable 'well done' from their line manager or'' have you done already remark''..heard it all b4.....to the original poster....you are an idiot.
