Trying to pressure me back into work.

Just thought I`d let twats like Harold Hardrada and co know about the letter I received this morning.

I have been `invited` upto the nearest mail centre for an interview so that they can discuss my absence and ascertain my view on the type of work I maybe able to perform.
It also says in the letter that before any decision can be taken that they will be securing health advice off Employee Health Services on the type of tasks I could `potentially`undertake.

Right first of all they sent the letter to my old address and I only got it because the postie knows me and gave it to the lad on where I live now,secondly the mail centre is miles away from where I live and although it`s been open some time now I`ve never been and don`t even know where the fook it is.
I can`t drive either as I`ve still only got about 25% sight in my right eye and also I`m housebound,I`ve only been out of the house once since my collapse and that was with the wife and even then I only managed 15mins on the local park.

EHS have no fooking idea what is up with me as even I don`t know yet as I don`t get to see my Neurologist until 23rd October and I told them this over the phone. I`ve not had one of their quacks look at me yet so how the fook can they know what task I could `potentially` undertake?

My Dr says I`ve not to get worked up or stressed out bit difficult when RM keep hassling you.

RM/ATOS Origin would have Stevie Wonder driving vans and David Blunkett sorting with Christopher Reeve on Delivery Hacks -they are just contractors and the golden rule is not to upset the cilent.RM's braindead machine would have staff brought in on stretchers or in ambulances for "interviews " as it ticks RM's boxes , they'd accuse them of malingering too !.I think they've watched too many reruns of " Bridge over the River Kwai" , tell the Camp Kommandant to f*** off , harassment if there ever was .
I wouldn't worry too much about Harold Hardrada , the PO is full of them , know everything , know nothing ,too much to say , they give that grade a bad name -thinking they are God's Gift to RM , they blame the CWU for having their grade took off them, RM don't like them as they've to pay higher allowances . Let's just say when the LSM was handing out absence warnings over three days at the local zoo , there wasn't much sympathy. Firstly you get a trolling idiot , then managers come on , then it's a rerun of PMT's Tell the Union to stuff it topic.

If i was in your shoes, i would first ask my doctor or in your case neurologist, if he would write a detailed letter on your condition and exactly why u cannot work and then send this to the EHS, also explain u are housebound,
but if they continued to insist on u attending for an interview, i would be sorely tempted to file a grievance for harrasment,
afterall, who is more medically qualified to judge your condition and wether or not u can return to work ? your doctor/neurologist or some numpty from the EHS ?
the EHS serve one purpose, and that is to pressurise staff into coming back early from sick leave
think about what will happen if u return to work too early and have a relapse ? they will nail your arse to the wall for having 2 seperate sick absences, RM show absolutley zero sympathy in such cases,
do yourself a huge favour and stay off untill u are certain u are 100%,

Get in touch with either the branch secretary or the area rep and tell them how you feel. Get them to explain how you condition came about to these insensitive managers and you stay off on the sick until you are given an all clear from your trained medical practitioner.

Just go and tell them your not fit to do the job and that you will not be able to do the deliveries again,I`m sure the guy will understand and find you another indoor job,I`ve heard they need a new toilet cleaner at your office you sound a good candidate.

come on guys just ignore this Harold Harada guy, hes obviously a sad lonely guy with no friends who enjoys trying to bring people down on an internet forum. Hes more than likely 5 foot 4, 8 stone and couldnt punch his way out a paper bag. Trying to be a smartass on here is all he has in his life. I feel sorry for him more than anything.

As for the main purpose of this thread, I agree with the earlier comment about going to see the neurologist and having him write a note or letter that you can forward to the management. Best of luck dont let them bring you down !
