Is it a packet duty?
How many did you take out?
I don't think I take out 60 in a week never mind bring that many back in one day.
Its a P/L round , normally have 6 packet bags plus large parcels between the 2 of us, plus 5 to 10 specials.
Its Council Estates on our rounds , single parents that spend all day on ebay
Firstly speak to "Moya" at n"justsayit"then contact RM security tell them whats going on.Then be very careful that you follow th procedure if you are going over most days.Ensure it is entered and witnessed and signed and dated.Once you report malpractise you instantly become target .It happened to me .If you really get them rattled these Bullys will stop at nothing to get rid of you.In my case member of public gave them info. But they also rely on t he office grasses o do there dirty work favourite tactic "Wilful Delay"have your own diary to hand for logging everything these lying corrupt excuse for managers do and say.Trust no one.

Ours shuts at 2.30pm and the DOM always leaves well before that because of meetings or other reasons.
We for example ended yesterday with 60 parcels returned including 5 specials plus 2 PDA's left in the van overnight in an unsecure carpark out of town in an Industrial Estate. My driver and other drivers have to put the car keys through the letterbox .
Surely with postmen working later and later RM should have a member of staff working in the cage to secure items out of the returning vans.
Another inconvenience is that the PDA's left in vans overnight dont get charged enough when you start the next day.
The other thing is that on days where we are off the following day what happens if a special item goes missing that was left in the van as I dont feel comfortable leaving specials not being returned to the cage?
Simple. Have your own keys to the office, so you can return the van and lock up again, or take the van home and drive back Monday morning.
