Stick together, strike and OUST that twat..i couldn't believe the smugness on his face when first shown. Nobody should act like that.
It's always great to see someone who thinks they are the bees-knees fall on the sword. My only hope is that it's Leighton who falls next.
BTW, that's 100% proof that the talks today produced nothing. The strike is very much...let's see who has the last smug smile soon, eh Al?

£440 Gross pay !!!!!! Where the FU*K does he get figures from.
"THIS IS NOT ABOUT PENSIONS" what a line, so our great leader thinks we are all happy to lose a large chunk of cash when we need it most.
I stand to lose near enough £50,000 of my pension
GREAT im skint now so i might as well be skint when im 60.
:lfo the sooner this TW*T FUC*S OFF the Better.
Just going to rewrite my will.
"Sorry Children and (maybe grandchildren), at the age of 32 i had a great pension which would have provided for your grandmother and all of you long after my passing, but due to two Fuc*ing scumbags in 2008 all that went down the pan. So sorry to say, all i leave you with now is an empty bank account which is overdrawn by £50,000 ."

Not sure but i think the £440 may be the deal the professional drivers got, but seeing as he said it was the average wage then i think we should all be asking where our back pay is i for one will be bringing the subject up today.

Leighton can suffer from foot in mouth
Leighton would be prepped with information prior to the interview. His method is to say exactly the same thing over and over again. If enough hits the wall it sticks as the saying goes.
It is a shame the CWU were not there. Who would win out of Leighton and Ward in a fight, maybe throw in Bob Crow for some Royal Rumble, or Celebrity Death Match. Personally they all look like thugs and were probably bullies in the school playground.

Re: Leighton can suffer from foot in mouth-HE'D RUN A MILE !
Youv'e also got the RM PC Imbecilles , they were probably bullied at school. He is a Boardroom Bully -endless self promotion on his terms with a tie this time ,and not looking drunk /overdoing the sunbed. The thuggery works it's way down the RM food chain to soften people up /knock the stuffing out of them for privatisation. What Mgrs say is pressure, others would say it 's bullying. :lfoHard Choices =Hard AttitudesF0zziebear wrote:Leighton would be prepped with information prior to the interview. Re: Leighton can suffer from foot in mouth
Not only is he prepped , the whole "interview" was clearly scripted. Not a single pause for thought ,perfectly structured to get all his claims across in an ordered way, looked like a WTL DVD to me ,certainly would'nt have been out of place.F0zziebear wrote:Leighton would be prepped with information prior to the interview. Of course the CWU were'nt there, it would have ruined the presentation: Does anyone actually think they were asked to participate and declined?
Do not expect balanced reporting as NEWS implies when the Murdoch empire's propaganda machine kicks into gear. Truly scary when one rich powerful interest group can achieve such media domination and pump out propaganda dressed as news.

shame no CWU
I come from a mgmt background but far prefer to have both sides in the room, more like Question Time on Thurs night, which is the rare forum where this currently happens! one thing the BBC is good at
The Comms Director is good at her job and generally preps senior mgmt well on what to do, though Leighton is a pro in this area. The unions could learn a thing or two from him. Keep repeating the same message over and over again, which is what the CWU did this time, which is why the 2.5% figure kept getting repeated in the press and sounded like a bad deal to the public.

re: any word on CWU press coverage
Not seen much from the CWU on the press side of things. Even though two strikes are looming. I would like to see CWU senior mgmt out there explaining again why they are out on strike.
Post Office closures announced. If you don't use now to get the message across you may not get another chance.
If the election happens soon then they will focus on that and not your plight

He spouted about our competitors being 40% more efficient than RM. How does he come by these figures? Nearly all of our competitors give the (stolen contracts) mail back to us to deliver, so how can he compare them with the service we provide?
BULLSHIT!!! BULSHIT!!! BULLSHIT!!!
I did like the shirt though. Wasn't that the one he wore in the NO BULLSHIT!!! video? Wonder if he's washed it since then or perhaps he's preserving Adam's cum stains on it.
Monika Lewinsky anyone?

the mans a nutter £440 a week , we should all send are wage slips into sky news and get that nutter on again ,and confront him , :lfobristolchris wrote:Again inacurate in giving postmans salary (£440) I think thats what he said, that would have to include overtime? He is a complete waste of space, but the point was made that Government have to decide what they want the Postal Service to mean? money making or a service?
