hello all, hows it going? just signed up last night and i am looking forward to reading up on different views and opinions from up and down the country. i've been with royal mail for 20 years now and have been at milton keynes mail centre the whole time. I am currently a distribution driver on 2 til 10 lates. Ive been a cwu rep for 10 years holding several different positions.

This is undoubtedly the the most difficult period i have ever known. This really is a defining moment for this industry. The half a dozen or so managers 'running' (ruining is more apt) the business are unlike any before them. we are dealing with a copmletely different animal. and they dont seem to want to stop at anything to ensure they drive through change and destroy the union in the workplace.

Standing firm together is the only way we can salvage a small victory out of this bitter dispute. In certain parts of the country the workplace has become a battle ground. If you get a chance look up any of the articles in the watford newspapers about how that office is in a state of anarchy. The atmosphere there is so bad you can taste it. They really are in the eye of the storm.
