The original poster said that the D2D's were late. So I guess there were non to prep.Lincox wrote:Why did they not do their D2ds? On completion of all indoor work.

Re: Suspended for finishing early!
So the question is were the D2ds not available to prep at all on the Monday, or did they arrive in the office late, but before they left for delivery.

Re: Suspended for finishing early!
did everyone finish on time
did mgmt patrol others
did everyone return to office
did everyone use trolly
did everyone do job right
its only because poor mgmt cant run their delivery offices and let people do what they want to save mgmt the bother of cut-offs or ot.
if every person in the office were to work to unified and set standards and rules there would never be a problem.
job and finish is a thing of the past unless your a fav who doesnt do ot then you can do whatever.
and if persons were pt they wouldnt even bother patrolling them

Re: Suspended for finishing early!
Just because they finished early - why have they suspended them. IIRC they should only suspend people to protect the reputation of Royal Mail, or the mail itself.
Unless they are using unfinished D2Ds as live mail I can't see the reason for suspension - temporary reassignment maybe, but suspension.

If they sat at home for 2 hours and then returned to the depot claiming they had worked all their paid hours, I think they would be suspended for dishonesty.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:Just because they finished early - why have they suspended them?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: Suspended for finishing early!
Sorry but I don't understand, can somebody please, explain in simple, non jargon terms why two posties have been suspended?
How can somebody be in trouble on a Monday for something that happened or didn't, on a Saturday ... clearing out?
Just trying to learn the jargon.
Thanks.

Think they left early on saturday, came into work on monday and were suspended on some made up bollocks that will most likely be dropped if they have a decent rep.Dj Silver wrote:SHow can somebody be in trouble on a Monday for something that happened or didn't, on a Saturday ... clearing out?.

Re: Suspended for finishing early!
This is about as clear as mud. Perhaps the OP should post again and this time try making the situation that has apparently happened easier for everyone to understand.
