A dog dazer is a small battery operated box that gives of a high pitched noise that is meant to frighten the dog off. Whether you'd have the time or piece of mind to use it, if you happen to have it to hand is another thing, then again it could just piss the dog off even more. Never used mine, but then again have not really had any problems with dogs, have just been lucky I suppose.

The woman owner is pleading not guilty but it goes to Court in May.
Police said to me she should have pleaded guilty as she hasnt got a leg to stand on with the new dog laws .
I was attacked by a Rottweiler and Alsation in the pathway to a house, the dogs were the neighbours, so not on their property, dogs had a history of attacking pets/people but this was the first time they had gotten a postie, it went to court and was dismissed pretty much right away, the reason being that they need two witnesses to determine who was supposed to be in control of the dogs, they couldn't find them in my case and the owner of the dogs got away with it.

The new laws are just as crap as the old ones, there are so many loopholes that the amount of convictions for dog attacks will always be a mere fraction of the amount that they should be.

Agree though if I was attacked I wouldn't have a second thought about it, the dog would be getting a hefty boot until it got off me.
I used to do a bit gardening work for a family friend a few years ago. She had a doberman and had to keep it in the back garden locked away when I was doing some work around the front. Went inside for a cup of tea with her and this doberman would run at/jump into the glass patio door teeth out and snapping and snarling like the zombie dogs in resident Evil if you've seen that film. She sad the dog just hates males and would full on attack if it came in.

If you was to just try and boot that dog i described above you'd probably get your throat ripped out.
