There a guy on one of the rounds i cover who gets about 5-6 amazon packets a day. Its ridiculous. The usual postie told me at Christmas he reached 16 in one day.
There's also a woman who gets small amazon packages a couple of times a week but her letterbox is the smallest one i've ever seen and she's never in. She's recently started a love film subscription too but they don't fit through the box. Feel like a right tit bringing back p739'd dvds
I thought i had missed him today and then the last packet in the drop bag was a Amazon dvd. Thats 5 days on the trot

Until recently I was that guy, rare records and tapes being delivered daily to sell on. Sadly the scandalous USPS price rises have put the kibosh on a nice wee earner for me.
One walk i covered a guy had that many packets daily , that he had agreed with our office for us to just post him a card saying how many he had to pick up from the delivery office
Work hard and do your best get the sack like all the rest !
I've got father and daughter two houses apart that get stuff every day, without fail. Another woman gets at least 5 bulky packets a week, often specials. How do they afford it?

How I wish for several people to do this on my walks. A special instruction to leave them in the DO and card them would be a dream. Instead, it's multiple vinyls and DVDs to the same people who are never in, every day. Maybe if I ever catch them I could suggest a Mail Collect? Surely some of these peeps are running EBay "businesses" from home ... no tax no VAT no HMRC - shouldn't we be shopping them to the powers that be ?? Or maybe keeping our gobs shut because they' keeping us in employ ....

I swear some people forget shops still sell thing or their just to lazy to leave the house? Council estates walks my bags will be over flowing with packets, upper class estates lucky to get more than one or two,

Yeah ive noticed how sometimes they will act all surprised with the amount. "are they all for me" etc. I mean surely they rem ordering the stuff.
Mind you ive had my own rather instant regret moments on Ebay after a few too many glasses of vino.

I used to deliver to a well known radio presenter who actually to this day boasts the amount he orders from amazon, play etc. he isn't lying about the 10+ DVD packets per day every day 6 days a week. Then the other stuff he would get as well small enough that a driver refused to take.
