The point is,as you're probably well aware General......it's one of the first questions asked at the accident investigation.
If you fall heavily and you have a 16kg bag on your back it's going to be classed as a contributory factor towards any injury.
If you're not supposed to have that bag on your back it's going to be blameworthy whether you would have slipped with the trolley or not.
You are also aware that deliberate disregard of health, safety or security procedures can be classed as gross misconduct and can lead to dismissal so i'm not sure that your sarcasm is really that clever..
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

The point oh ponderous one is that whether you have a whale or a large bag on your back or whether you have a trolley or not,at out office you always get issued with a warning.
Also the point of being charged with gross misconduct and therefore dismissed for flouting a health and safety issue ,well when the manager,Area Rep and even Moya(who has been alerted to the problem)are not seen to be doing anything i.e to be condoning the issue of knowbody using the trolleys then I rather think that their case would be pretty damn shoddy in a tribunal for any sacking.
But whatever you know best and f***ing lighten up or eat some bran flakes or something.
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
