Yep seems to have made its way to our office because someone turned round and said "how can you test us when you've removed the sheet from the sorting frame"

There still only remains one agreed test, that is the 1 min prep test on an empty frame, do not let anyone tell u otherwise. Contact your rep if Dom says otherwise.

Exactly, and there in lies half the problem. Somebody else throwing in your walk will not take as much care and will not be as thorough as they would if it was their own walk.

It's human nature.
I hated it when someone threw my walk off. I'm a leftie and invariably I got a right-hander do it so the stuff was all set in the wrong way round.

Laughed at this. Our part-timers know more rounds than the full-timers (used & abused) and are twice as fast at IPS. The full-timers (not helping nobody) tend to only know one or two rounds whereas the part-timers know most.

10% ... I'm surprised they haven't transferred you to your nearest Mail Centre to work on the OPS.

Seconded! :Applause

Speed versus accuracy!

We have a bigger accuracy problem since revision - some walks have gone, others merged and new walks created. However, some sorters on IPS/packet just do not bother checking the boards - same mistakes month after months - and that is on top of the ones they used to make.

It is shocking on some of New rounds that comprise 3 - 4 rounds. And the final missorts is a joke - they just don't give a stuff; you get 6 or 7 different rounds that are miles apart.
