State Pension help

Post by POSTMAN »

State Pension is paid to entitled people who claim it having reached State Pension age. It is based on National Insurance (NI) contributions and it is made up of different elements.

Useful link,worth a look.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

They are probably trying to reduce her Pension Credit or other means tested benefit, not her state pension. Which I agree is not fair, but that's what the current rules allow.
Those rules are expected to change for future pensioners from 2017 when the flat rate pension begins.
