It takes a brave man to stand up to these bullying w******. Try it if you want but you have been warned.

To me... it seems that to empower a bully you must somewhat allow yourself to be bullied.

It really is simple.
Everyone in the office has a start finish time.
Everyone has a job to do.
It matters not one jot to me, if someone else is not pulling their weight or their walk is smaller or larger than mine.

I get paid from start time to finish time. What the employer wants me to do in that time is up to them(subject to H&S and training etc).
They want me to thow out and redirect and kill off and d2d etc, thats fine but my finish time is my finish time.
THEY then get to choose for me, which part of the job gets left when my time is up......simple. It's just a job, a scarce job in this day and age but just a job none the less.
Be professional, polite, chilled and dont whine, just say "no worries, I can do that but what do YOU want me to do with the mail when my time is up" Their response will be a rant, your response " OK, but but what do YOU want me to do with the mail when my time is up" etc etc etc etc

Their pitch their ball, we just play the game .
