There have been hints about counting things at our office too. They never stop do they. The relentless drive to get us to do more and more each week gets pretty wearing.

Just work your time. Let them measure what they want, all you have to do is turn up and deliver the mail safely and according to their own guidelines.

You will be wondering why is it the po say mail is down ,yet the postman differs.Ive been a postie for a long long time and i can honestly say i deliver MORE mail today than i did 20+ years ago. But its simple 20+yrs ago u had maybe 50 postman in office now there is only 40 postman + the call ratio is higher today simple isnt it

D2D have to be counted along with letters as its now "part of your workload" in the agreement, they tried to skip the D2D when they were counting the mail until I pointed out it must be included in the count, I don't think they were too happy with that as it threw their traffic figures out

The main reason is dos bonuses thats what drives them
