All results in on the cases....... so 3 charged with GM and given 12 months suspended dismissal. Another 2 had fact finding interviews regarding WD, they will be counselled.

I still don't understand how 5 experienced posties decided to bring mail back without it being agreed 1st with a manager?

They'd probably had enough.

That and the fact that the guidance available is contradictory and bogus,how does Once a delivery postperson leaves for delivery the clear expectation is that all mail must be delivered square with the statement that there is no compulsory overtime in Royal Mail.

Judging it to the minute with 2 in a van,packets,tracked,specials and all the variances involved is impossible...leave yourself short and you leave yourself wide open to conduct charges,take too much and you're forced to deliver it which is compulsory overtime is it not?

The Overrunning Deliveries Procedure is next to useless after a delivery methods revision,that's a fact the Outdoor Secretary needs to get into his head.

You are so right it damn well does need addressing for anything can happen this should be part and parcel of our new pay agreement of 2013 first and foremost!.

Don't worry I am sure someone will brief them, its unfair to think that current experience of the job would enable better understanding of the implications of agreements, and that the same experience could result in a more proactive union and better engaged membership. But hey ho thats not my opinion.
