So, to what extent is TNT's 'meltdown' due to "the place is staffed & run by Polish managers / supervisors at the expense of british workers" ?

They have employed so many foreigners that to be able to communicate with them you have to speak polish

The british no longer on the whole dont apply for any vacancies ie team leaders / supervisors / shift managers , there is no cooperation / teamwork in the centres

The british ones with the knowledge / skills just go in , do the bare minimum , go home , the poles are so arrogant that it causes arguments .

The polish supervisors / shift managers dont supervise / manage they just get orders from the centre managers about everything , consequently quality is permanently poor .

Any more info just ask

Not really surprising quality is permanently poor either LL..with all that bare minimum stuff going on.

Except for the Polish comment the story seems familiar - is it the nature of the sector, or just a snapshot of the current management style in the UK today.

You seem to be concentrating on the " polish " element as if RM has a large element of supervisors / managers in depots

You will be saying next that RM workers are busting a gut to help the managers

Any new british people starting at TNT are given no training whatsoever , H & S is just a myth , consequently only the polish workers get a chance to progress

They have been ripping off staff for years over overtime payments etc , only recently been addressing these issues .

Going back to the original post "is TNT UK " in meltdown , yes it is if they dont expand the End To End they are goners
