How many of your "colleagues" will be doing the cardinal sin this weekend and crossing the picket line?
In my DO, there was 3 the last time. They still haven't been spoken to since, and they look like doing the same thing. The manager looks on it as a 'brave' decision to make. No0one can afford to lose 2 days pay, but think of the future!

Each strike day our office has seen more bodies cross the line.We will see even more this time round. They dont want what RM is offering but they need money to live now.
People are losing faith with the union & feel they have no future anyway,so why not earn while they can especially with Xmas approaching.

Sorry to report but numbers of strike breakers have slowly risen as the strikes have gone on, not to hopeful about this one. Seems to me there are those that say they can not afford to strike (normally the biggest earners in the DO !) and those which are just to week. We even had one that said GOD had told her to go in
. But we also have some that strike for the wrong reasons too(the lazy types!), they just see it as unpaid leave and just don't care about the reasons. I find this almost as bad as the strike breakers that go in, I strike for what I believe to be the right reason for all of us and not just me. I think this IA might even help the wider work place as if we win even a small amount might give other industries the push they need to improve their working environment.
Together we stand and united we won (well sort of !)

We've had 100% out on all of the strikes but not many are turning up on the picket line which I feel is just as important. The rep makes a big effort but in the end it's up to the individual to get their arse down to the line.
There are a few who are threatening to cross the line but these are the ones who complain about not being able to afford to go on strike while spending every spare moment in the boozer. Come ahead!
Let's remember though that those supporting the strike vastly out number the few who choose to scab. I think we can win this if we stay strong.

Down with the blackleg, all workers unite.

2 and one new one when she comes back off her hols.
The rest are diamonds, and even tho we've had an extra day and some of our lot have been hit with pay loss on all days, they still wont cross.
Bit of a happy family at our place

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

We have been good, given we are in an ultra conservative area 85% out.
Given that includes DUM`s deputy+support and those jokers who would come in if they had to work naked.
Bit of angst about the 48 hour thing but people have come round to it although reluctantly.
Our pickets have been great, minimum a quarter of staff and sometimes over a third in attendance,we will be there on Friday morning.
One point of interest,we have a Polish man starting Monday,i am quite friendly with a couple of Polish girls in my town and they both say although he may be new they would be very surprised if he crossed a picket line.
Now that would be a victory for us getting this lad on the line with us!
