I would be loath to criticise an ex manager - I have known able people who rather than be back stabbing, arse licking managers returned to the blue shirt and in many cases they would have made better managers than some I could mention. They were knowledgeable and intelligent which for starters would pretty well exclude them from the sorry bunch we seem to end up with.

Workers are quite capable of running things themselves without a set of 'experts' telling them what to do. Getting rid of managers will mean we will run the job to suit ourselves and the customer.
