Actually I think the previous strikes brought them back to the table, but then Dave and Billy cocked it up and were blind sided by :lfo . Hopefully they have learnt their lesson and wont be fooled again. Also this tactic of attacking on 2 fronts is a good idea IMHO.

RM are still progressing there executive action even with the threat of strike if it was not for the previous strikes they would not even be talking to us at all. i agree with your sentiment but in reality it is the only language they understand it would be a huge backdown to stop now it would give RM the green light to force through changes we have nothing to lose. As far as they are concerned they are stripping the bark off a sinking ship. ALL OUT BROTHERS.

Or .......... We can just lay down, give up our pensions, give up our jobs, give up our domestic life.mallyjames1 wrote:how many of u are sick of this situation?go back to work;do the job properly;dont start early, dont use your car, dont work over.put the onus on the line manager.state you need some help;its up to the line manager not you to sort it out.tell him or her with the rep or a witness you are finishing at your proper time.Do this and dont lose£60 per day and cause max disruption to royal mail.lets get it on.
It is YOUR JOB, YOUR LIFE! You wanna fight for it, or just give it all away?

Just wish i could get the selfish arseholes in my office to understand the "do your job properly" action. All i hear is iam not doing it cause so and so isnt and i dont want to be the only one. All this has left me and a few others trying our best to have an effect. Ive provided them with so much info and really am at a loss to understand how the 20 that came in last time will carry on this time. I really do have 20 Forest Gumps in my D.O.

doing the job properly
on friday gone(a mega mail day) all the secondary section demanded a split.the result was a domino reaction from the other sections.managers were out delivering bags until 5 o clock in the afternoon.there is a god after all.

I was one of the few to cut off the other day, most will work faster to get it cleared. I hope this situation changes now we have recieved the literature from the CWU heres hoping....
also I agree with the "doing your job properly" is a better tool for getting what we want as we wont lose all this money. Just come in and work to your time, I cant see how anyone has a problem with doing that (except the genuinely lazy f***ers)
