IT WAS moustaches all round for a team of charitable postmen – who raised more than £1,000 towards male cancer care by growing some impressive facial hair.
The four posties – Pete Branagan, Terry Hoult, James Hutchinson and Danny Turner, all based at Barnsley Delivery Office – sported their moustaches while collecting sponsorship cash.
Their initial total was £607, before the Royal Mail agreed to double the amount of money raised to £1,214.
The postmen grew their moustaches as part of a campaign to raise awareness of men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer, as well as funds for treatment and research.
